Competencies
Main responsibilities
The Personnel Licensing Section is empowered to perform the following tasks:
Drafting amendments to the national regulatory framework of the Republic of Moldova in the field of civil aviation personnel licensing, based on the standards and recommended practices of the international civil aviation organizations of which the Republic of Moldova is a member. |
Ensuring the implementation of the national regulatory framework for: - issue/ revalidation/ renewal and validation of licences and associated ratings of aeronautical personnel, limitation/ suspension/ revocation of aeronautical personnel licences;
- issue/ suspension/ revocation of cabin crew attestations;
- validation of aeronautical personnel licences issued by ICAO Member States;
- approval/ oversight of aeronautical personnel training organizations;
- limitation/ suspension/ revocation of certificates of approved aeronautical personnel training organizations;
- acceptance of aeronautical personnel training organizations approved in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011;
- conducting inspections for the approval/ oversight of training organizations;
- conducting inspections for the licensing/ oversight of aeronautical personnel;
- conducting theoretical knowledge examinations for aeronautical personnel.
