CAA reaction to sanctions against LUKOIL

 In light of the information that has appeared in the public domain regarding the impact of international sanctions on fuel supplier *LUKOIL*, we would like to inform you of the following:

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Republic of Moldova (CAA) has been officially notified of the restrictive measures imposed by the United States of America and the United Kingdom, which are to take effect on November 21, 2025, and which target entities within the LUKOIL group.

As the supervisory authority for aviation activities, the *CAA is closely monitoring the situation* and is in constant contact with the administration of *Chisinau International Airport*, handling service providers, and airline operators.

*We reiterate that, at this time, aircraft refueling operations are proceeding as normal.*

All airline operators have been informed and are cooperating to ensure *flight continuity*, and preventive measures are being analyzed to avoid any negative impact on passengers or the flight schedule.
